Welcome to another exciting edition of the weekly newsletter bringing you all of the latest goings-on from around the club. It has been mostly a dry week which has helped the course a lot, and is very good condition considering the time of year. Enjoy this week's read.

Turkey Trot

Saturday and Sunday was the Turkey Trott, please see the results below:

Division 1

1st – Peter Pascoe – 41 points, 2nd – Ian Lancaster – 41 points, 3rd – David Rundle – 40 points

Division 2

1st – Mark Davis – 44 points, 2nd – Rick Clark – 43 points, 3rd – Derek Mills – 42 points

Division 3

1st – Dan Bee – 40 points, 2nd – Ben Roberts – 38 points, 3rd – Chris Christison – 37 points

Sunday

1st – John Stevens – 40 points, 2nd – Roger Webb – 39 points, 3rd – Andrew Bloomfield – 39 points

Unfortunately I was away for this competition as I was at the Emirates stadium watching my beloved Arsenal beat local rivals Tottenham 2-0.

I had a brilliant day and one I won't forget in a while, as you can see below I had pretty good seats too..

Course update

Work has started this week to improve the drainage to the approaches to the green, Will and his team were busy on the 18th hole and are now moving towards the 1st and 3rd greens...
