December Stableford

It was nice to see the course busy for the Saturday and Sunday December Stableford, the scoring was very impressive on both days, please see results below:

Division One

Division Two

1st – Joe Carpenter – 40 points

This year I have helped kit out the University of Plymouth Golf Club in FootJoy Shirts and Jumpers, all featuring their University sports crest.

The team compete in the BUCS league against other universities around the country including Bournemouth, Cardiff, Exeter and Southampton. The competition brings the best student golfers (some as low as +4!) against each other in a Singles Scratch Matchplay format.

Elfordleigh shop assistant Chris, has been involved with the club for 5 years, undertaking roles of both Chairman and Treasurer during this time. He has represented UPGC in national competitions and 1st Team matches.

Good luck to Chris and his team for the rest of the season.

St Austell Courtsey

I would like to bring to your attention as you may not already be aware that through the St.Austell brewery association with Elfordleigh, you are able to play the following courses free of charge:

Trevose, Boringdon, Bowood, Mullion, Trethorne, Thurlestone, China Fleet, Bude, Dartmouth, Woodbury and Truro. (china fleet and bude are not available at weekends)

You can only book one month in advance, and any bookings would need to come through ourselves in the pro shop.
